T3 is a fire-refined copper, containing more oxygen and impurities, with good electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance and processing performance, can be fusion welding and brazing. Mainly used as a structural material, such as the production of electrical switches, gaskets, rivets, pipe nozzles and various conduits, etc.; also used for less important conductive components.
T1, T2, T3 is oxygen-containing copper, in the hydrogen-containing reducing medium is prone to hydrogen embrittlement, commonly known as “hydrogen disease”, so it is not suitable for high temperature (> 370 ℃) reducing medium for processing (annealing, welding, etc.) and use. At low temperatures (to -250 ℃), regardless of the cold hardening state or annealed state of pure copper, its strength has improved.
