Purple Copper Strip
Purple copper tape, also known as electrolytic copper tape, consists mainly of pure copper, with a purity generally above 99.9%. The distinguishing feature of purple copper tape is its excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, which is attributed to the physical properties of pure copper. Pure copper is chemically stable, and is relatively stable under other conditions, except that it will gradually oxidize to a green patina in a wet environment.
Brass Strip
Brass strip is a copper-zinc alloy whose main components are copper and zinc, and the properties of brass can vary depending on the zinc content. Generally speaking, the content of copper in brass is between 55% and 70%, and the content of zinc is between 45% and 30%. Brass strips have better machinability and wear resistance compared to purple copper strips, but they are slightly inferior in terms of electrical and thermal conductivity.
