C12200 is a high quality copper bar, also known as DHP copper (Deoxidized High Phosphorus Copper). It consists of at least 99.9% copper and about 0.015-0.040% phosphorus, where the phosphorus serves to remove oxygen and other impurities, avoiding porosity and thermal cracking, which makes it one of the ideal materials for the manufacture of high-quality copper products.
C12200 has good thermal and electrical conductivity, as well as high corrosion resistance and thermal stability. It is widely used in the manufacture of industrial water pipes, heaters, coolers, solar water heaters, building water heating, water supply and drainage systems and in the manufacture of coins, strings and wind chimes.
