Produced in basaltic rocks and related Cu-Ni deposits in conjunction with chalcopyrite, ilmenite and so on.

Produced in hydrothermal deposits in the porphyry copper ore, often contains microscopic flake chalcopyrite inclusions, and chalcopyrite, pyrite, galena, zoisite, sulfur-arsenic copper ore, chalcopyrite and other symbiotic; and sometimes with molybdenite, natural gold and other symbiotic.

It is also seen in some yuccaite deposits, and coexists with other copper sulfides. In the oxidizing zone it is easily transformed into malachite, bluish chalcopyrite, hematite, limonite and so on.

Sulfur is the harmful element in it not the metallic element, iron is present, rare earths are rare except in mines developed in the Northwest, and copper mines in Inner Mongolia are possible.

Metal is a shiny, good electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and mechanical properties, and has a positive temperature resistance coefficient of the material. Metal, is a big family, now there are 86 kinds of metal in the world. Usually people divided into two categories of metals, ferrous metals and non-ferrous metals.

Ferrous metals and non-ferrous metals this name, often make people misunderstand, think ferrous metals must be black, in fact, it is not.

There are only three ferrous metals: iron, manganese and chromium. And all three of them are not black! Pure iron is silver-white; manganese is silver-white; chromium is gray-white.

Because the surface of iron often rust, covered with a layer of black iron tetraoxide and brown iron oxide mixture, look is black.

No wonder people call it “ferrous metal”. The “ferrous metallurgical industry” is often referred to as the iron and steel industry. Since the most common alloy steel is manganese steel and chromium steel, manganese and chromium are also regarded as “ferrous metals”.

In addition to iron, manganese and chromium, all other metals are considered non-ferrous metals.

There are various ways to categorize non-ferrous metals. For example, according to the specific gravity of points, aluminum, magnesium, lithium, sodium, potassium and other specific gravity is less than 5, called the “light metal”, while the specific gravity of copper, zinc, nickel, mercury, tin, lead and so on more than 5, called the “heavy metal”.
